SEVENSTORE will once again partner with Fred Perry for a Subculture Live event in Liverpool on Thursday 19th March, celebrating the launch of the brand-new Fred Perry x Raf Simons collection.

The event, displaying SEVENSTORE’s ongoing presence in Liverpool’s music scene, will take place at SEVENSTORE’s Baltic Triangle retail and creative space, with live sets from two of Liverpool’s most compelling emergent artists – Brad Stank and Strawberry Guy.

Combining Fred Perry’s fashion heritage and Liverpool’s contemporary live music scene, the event will feature a display of the brand-new, shoppable Fred Perry collection designed in collaboration with Raf Simons. Inspired by the energy of youth and a generation of kids coming of age in the ‘70s and ‘80s Britain, Raf Simons’ signature silhouettes in the new collection are printed with the photography of Gavin Watson, whose work has focussed on Britain’s countercultural youth.

Fred Perry Subculture has shared a close relationship with the British music scene, providing a fertile ground for British subcultures, its music, and the heritage that continues to inform the brand today. The event at SEVENSTORE will feature as part of the Subculture Live series, a platform that both shines a light on icons of the British music scene as well as emerging bands ready to turn heads on the global stage.

Displaying a commitment to showcasing new, British artistic talent, the event will feature two headline performances from Brad Stank and Strawberry Guy. Full hearted crooner Brad Stank has emerged as one of Liverpool’s most captivating artists in recent years. Blending soulful arrangements and blissed out guitar licks, the singer-songwriter’s slowed down aura leaves plenty of time for his impassioned music to speak in between his doe-eyed vocals. Another of Liverpool’s leading singer-songwriters joins Brad on the bill, with Strawberry Guy bringing a live incarnation of his woozy bedroom jams to the stage at SEVENSTORE.

Fred Perry Subculture Live at SEVENSTORE takes place from 7PM on 19 MARCH.
