Converse introduce a new collaboration with British luxury brand A-COLD-WALL*.

Inspired by earth’s rawest elements and the most powerful forces of nature such as erosion, contrasted with the sharp edges of the city streets and brutalist architecture, the two sneaker designs are crafted with the ultimate focus in modern refinement and technique to produce weather-ready offerings.

Helmed by Samuel Ross, creative director of A-COLD-WALL* and Virgil Abloh collaborator, the limited-edition designs fuse an inspiration from underground street culture and vivid landscapes, combining the worlds of basketball with workwear apparel.

The first of the two releases is the ERX 260, made with burnished premium leather, the sneaker arrives in a grey-violet colourway and a high-top silhouette. Ankle strapping showcases an antique hardware ring that sits upon a scuffed midsole, which is finished with leather detailing and a lace closure.

The next part of the collaboration takes pointers from Converse’s Chuck Taylor and reimagines it though the lens of A-COLD-WALL*. Arriving in a rugged nylon fabrication, the high-top showcases zig-zag stitching and a thick rubber outsole before adding embossed A-COLD-WALL* and Converse branding to elevate the premium look of the sneaker.

The Converse X A-COLD-WALL* pack will available to purchase through a raffle via SEVENSTORE Launches.
